Peaches and Cream Breakfast Smoothie

Ingredients

  • 1 banana, frozen (medium)
  • 1 peach, chopped
  • 1 5.3-oz container Icelandic skyr or Iceland-style yogurt, vanilla flavor
  • 1/2 cup quick oats
  • 2 Tbsp ground flax seeds
  • 1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
  • 1/4 tsp pure vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Add all ingredients to blender or food processor.

  2. Blend on high speed until desired consistency is reached.

Recipe Notes

  • This makes 1 extra-large smoothie, perfect for a substantive breakfast or to share with your kids.
  • Or divide into 2 for the right snack-size portion. Can be frozen and defrosted to drink later!
  • You don't need to peel your peach before blending. I leave the skin on for extra fiber. You can't tell once it's all blended together.
  • Depending on how large your banana and peach are, you may need to add another splash of almond milk to achieve a drinkable consistency.
