#NeverDoneWithFun is the chronicle of one busy mom finding creativity amid the chaos of mom life. Like every mama everywhere, I want to have it all, and this – my “mommy/lifestyle” mashup blog – tries to give you the best of all worlds: a little DIY, a little cooking, a little parenting, a little inspiration … with a lot of love, laughter, and real life thrown in. It might be messy and often exhausting, but I wouldn’t change a thing.

I’m a communications, marketing and design professional by day, Pinterest project queen by night, and mom of two boys every minute of every day. I’ve translated a degree in journalism into a 9-to-5 career in association management, working for two interconnected health care non-profit training organizations. My day job is busy and never boring, but my passion lies in the creative projects I do nights and weekend. From DIY to design, keeping my hands busy (and possibly full of glitter) is what keeps my heart happy and my mind clear. I’m the queen in a household of all boys, married to my best friend, Tim, and navigating the crazy roller coaster of parenthood to Easton (5), Sawyer (2), and Bruno (French bulldog). Like my day job, life in our household is busy but never boring. We live in suburban Chicago, where we are constantly on the go with family and friends.
